At LiteSpark, we continue driving the development of FieldMaster with a strong commitment to optimizing every aspect of the platform. Below, we present a summary of the achievements and learnings from Iteration 10, corresponding to Milestone 3 of the ABP project.
1. Planning and Objectives
During the meeting on February 13, 2025, key objectives for this iteration were defined to deepen development and enhance work organization:
- Academic Follow-Up (PM): Continuous monitoring was maintained across all subjects by breaking down tasks more precisely and enforcing stricter time tracking with Clockify.
- Requests and Database (SMBI): Pages for mock requests were created and modifications were made to the database, particularly in the “jugadas” table.
- Front-End Development (SMA): Progress was made on the new Angular front-end, following the pre-approved mockups.
- Graphic Enhancements (TAG): Improvements in Three.js functionalities continued alongside advancements in the development of the graphic engine using OpenGL (WebGL). Tasks included implementing camera controls, player selection outlines, scene performance optimizations, and modules for loading models (GLB/GLTF/FBX).
- Open Data and KPIs (NM): The proposal for open data to be displayed on the “Dashboard” was initiated, defining the necessary metrics and KPIs.
Each task was assigned to the respective team members, ensuring detailed organization and coordinated progress.
2. Development Incidents
No incidents were reported during this iteration, reflecting a smooth execution and a well-structured plan.
3. Development Review
The review meeting, held on February 26, 2025, evaluated progress and identified tasks needing further attention:
- Pending Tasks:
- Modify the database (jugadas table)
- Continue developing the Angular front-end
- Further improvements in the Three.js and OpenGL graphic engines
- Advance the definition and integration of open data and KPIs
Although these tasks have been postponed to Iteration 11, they were considered lower in priority, allowing the team to focus on core aspects that drive overall progress.
4. Conclusions and Next Steps
Iteration 10 experienced some deviations from the initial plan; however, it proved to be one of the most productive phases of the project. Feedback from the previous iteration was taken into careful consideration, leading to a more detailed subdivision of tasks and improved time tracking with Clockify.
Next Steps:
- Integrate the pending tasks in Iteration 11.
- Continue developing the front-end and graphic engine, deepening both technical and functional enhancements.
- Refine the open data and KPI strategy to enrich the FieldMaster “Dashboard.”
These actions will further evolve and consolidate FieldMaster as the definitive tool for 3D sports simulation.
