At LiteSpark, we remain committed to the continuous improvement of FieldMaster. In this update, we share the details and achievements reached in Iteration 9, as part of our ABP project. Below is an overview of the activities, meetings, and conclusions that have defined this phase.
1. Planning and Objectives
During the meeting on January 27, 2025, essential objectives and tasks for this iteration were defined:
- Academic Follow-Up (PM): Continuous monitoring across all subjects to ensure the project’s steady progress.
- New Mockups (SMA): New mockups were proposed and reviewed, which will be presented to José Vicente for his feedback.
- Graphic Development (TAG): Work on Three.js continued, and the initial steps were taken in developing the graphic engine using OpenGL.
- Open Data (NM): The proposal for integrating open data into the platform was defined.
Each task was assigned to the appropriate team members, ensuring precise coordination and the fulfillment of the established objectives.
2. Smooth Development Without Incidents
One of the highlights of this iteration is that no incidents were recorded during the development process. This outcome reflects a smooth execution and well-aligned planning by the team.
3. Progress Review and Evaluation
The review meeting held on February 12, 2025, confirmed that:
- Overall Progress: No pending activities were recorded, demonstrating solid and organized advancement.
- Constructive Feedback: Although José Vicente’s feedback led to the revision and improvement of the mockups, the impact was positive, allowing some activities to be paused and reoriented to enhance the user experience.
This assessment reflects the effectiveness of the planning and the team’s commitment to meeting the project’s objectives.
4. Conclusions and Next Steps
Iteration 9 concluded successfully, with no deviations from the planned schedule. The main takeaways are:
- The planning was accurate, enabling steady progress in FieldMaster’s development.
- The reception of feedback was crucial for optimizing both the visual and functional aspects of the platform.
- Next steps include integrating the newly approved mockups and continuing with the graphic development, with a special focus on implementing OpenGL.
